Dr Richard Wilson MB BCh BAO FRCEM Dip Med Tox

Richard has worked as a Consultant in Accident & Emergency Medicine at the Royal Victoria Hospital and Regional Trauma Centre for over 15 years. His daily clinical work involves managing patients across the spectrum of illness and injury in Emergency Medicine. He also contributes to the Minor Injury and Major Trauma Ward rotas.

Richard served as the Vice President (NI) for the Royal College of Emergency Medicine from 2013 to 2016. He has been an ATLS course director and completed the European Trauma Course in 2019. Richard has postgraduate qualifications in Medical Toxicology and  Interprofessional Health and Social Studies. Clinical interests include trauma management and medical toxicology.

Richard is happy to review patients and prepare medicolegal reports for personal injury claims. Expert reports can also be provided for negligence claims arising within the field of Accident & Emergency Medicine.
