Michael has worked in both the public and private sector since graduating from the University of Ulster in 2004 with high level Honours. He is a member of the College of Podiatry and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

He currently holds the post of Advanced Podiatrist, and has a particular interest in Rheumatology, Sports medicine and Neurology.

He has worked as lead podiatrist in many specialist, consultant led hospital units including Sports injuries, Brain injuries, Spinal injuries, and Rheumatology. Michael also works within community podiatry services where his roles include supervising, mentoring and formal training of his podiatry colleagues in musculo-skeletal podiatry.
