Dr Olly Bannon
MB, BCH, FRCEM, Cert Med Ed.

Dr Bannon graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2005. He undertook his training in Northern Ireland and has been a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at the Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast since 2013.

Dr Bannon has particular interest in the fields of trauma management, human factors and clinical education. He is a former Northern Ireland Simulation lead for the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. He is the current lead for Life Support training for Queens University Belfast medical students.

Dr Bannon’s daily work involves the assessment and treatment across the entire spectrum of Emergency Medicine.  Being based in the countries regional trauma centre, Dr Bannon has particular expertise in the management of traumatically injured patients.

Dr Bannon will prepare medical reports with regard to personal injury claims.
