Dr Mary Drake

Dr Mary Drake is a consultant haematologist with 20 years of experience in Clinical Haematology.

Dr Drake trained in Belfast in the Belfast City and Royal Victoria Hospitals and is on the Specialist Register for Haematology of the General Medical Council. She was appointed as a consultant by the Belfast City Hospital in 2002.

She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists.

Dr Drake has a specialist interest in lymphoproliferative disease and myeloma. She has acted as chair of the Lymphoma / Myeloma Multidisciplinary Team for Belfast, Southern and South Eastern Trusts and has been Principal Investigator for a number of national and international studies in lymphoma and myeloma.

Dr Drake provides diagnostic, monitoring and follow-up services for a range of blood and bone marrow conditions. This includes disorders of red cells, white cells, platelets, blood clotting, lymph nodes, spleen, iron, vitamin B12 + folate and paraproteins.

Dr Drake is available for Private consultation at Medical Associates, Derryvolgie Avenue, Belfast. She is registered with all local and national medical Insurance Companies and also welcomes enquires from patients without medical insurance.
