Dr Jim Anderson is a Consultant Psychiatrist at the Ulster Hospital within the South Eastern HSC Trust. He is the Honorary Clinical Lecturer in Mental Health and Ethics at Queens University Belfast

Dr Anderson is a dually accredited Psychiatrist entered on the GMC Specialist Register for General Adult Psychiatry and Psychiatry of Old Age since 1998.

Dr Anderson was awarded Master of Arts Degree in Medical Ethics & Law from QUB 1998 and is an elected Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Dr Anderson provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment of Depression, Anxiety and Memory Disorders, including Alzheimers, Vascular and other Dementias.

Dr Anderson has expertise in mental capacity assessment and occupational and stress related mental disorders.

Dr Anderson is available for medicolegal consultation and is a recognized expert witness to the Court.

Home based assessment, diagnosis and treatment can be provided where appropriate.
